Holding On
Rob Halligan - From the CD 'Dark Clouds Fighting'

It starts
When my life is beautiful
And the world is wonderful
And I can run and I can fly and then I fall
Sometimes
Everything is so well planned
And everthing's at my command
And I think that I can fight but I can't stand

Sometimes I've got it all worked out
I'm building castles to the sky
Sometimes I'm running headlong
And all I need get's left behind
Sometimes I try to build my dreams
On the sand of what i am
But It all comes crashing down
'Cos I'm not holding on to you

Sometimes
You've got the nicest words to say
Words thatr really make my day
And i think it's all alright and but I just fail

Sometimes my mind is lost
Inside a maze that dont mean anything
Sometimes my head is spinning faster
Than my universe can spin
And I can't see and I can't hear myself
Thinkig what to do
I can only fall
When I'm not holding on to you

Sometimes i reach out my hand
And I'm trying to grasp
All the good things that I've left behind
I know that you love me
I know that you want me
I love you and I want you
To be mine
Sometimes I try to let go
Of the things that I know
Will make me run so slow in this race
I run to you
Open up my arms to you
I love you, I want you
To be mine
