Halligan’s News
Well, here we are, heading into another new year. It’s going to be busy, ridiculously so, but hey, bring it on!
Firstly, thanks for all your support this year. ‘Best Thing That’s Happened’ has had some amazing reviews as well as being nominated CBC Contemporary Album Of the Year. I’ve had some great gigs with some great people including Ade Edmondson and the Bad Shepherds and Phil Beer. After the Fire have rocked this year and the gig with the Bill Mason Band was electric.
We also kicked off the Two Feet Project raising money for Global Care’s work in Ethiopia – head to my Do Something page to help out.
So what’s next. There’s a bunch of great gigs booked for the start of next year including Warwick Arts Centre and the Stables. I’ll be on the road for a few days with my old mate Gareth Davies Jones and there’s a couple of After the Fire dates as well.
Look out as well for the launch of my latest CD, ‘The Perils, The Grace and The Way’, due out at the end of January – there’ll be news of a CD launch coming very soon. You can pre-order the CD at http://www.robhalligan.co.uk/wp/music/the-perils-the-grace-and-the-way/ and you get free postage and a limited edition DVD. The offer is limited to the 29th Jan so get in there quick!
