In Sepember 2009 I had the privilege to visit Bangladesh with Global Care, a Children’s charity based in coventry who work with vulnerable children across the world. This is my diary of the trip.

In late February 2010 John and Rita Bose, founders of the Love Bangladesh Ministries who run the orphanage in Horintana, were killed in a car accident in southern Bangladesh.
John and Rita were the most welcoming people and looked after us during our stay in Bangladesh. While the work there continues the loss felt by the children and staff in Horintana is huge. To find out how you can support the work there please visit www.globalcare.org.uk.
